Rare lung disease expert and LAM therapy pioneer, Dr. McCormack has also served as the scientific director and chair of the LAM Foundation’s scientific advisory board since 1995. He was among the pulmonologists who helped to push forward research efforts that led to the first clinical trial for women with LAM. He is a passionate advocate for LAM research and has made significant contributions to the medical community’s understanding of the disease, the clinical care of individuals with LAM and to the establishment of clinical trials for women with LAM.
