Please find below details of the 2023 Pittsburgh-Ireland International Lung Conference: Precision Medicine in Lung Diseases: From Cellular Mechanisms to Clinical Phenotypes on October 16-17, 2023 at the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences.
We have been advised by the organisers that there are still some places for poster presenters but please note all presenting authors should be registered by September 29th and any abstract submissions for poster presentation will need to be in by midnight, September 22nd. Secure your place today for The Pittsburgh-Ireland International Lung Conference, taking place on October 16-17, 2023 at the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dublin, Ireland.
This year, PIILC will focus on new insights into lung function and diseases by examining the cellular mechanisms that comprise this complex organ. With a focus on the presentation of cutting-edge topics in clinical, translational, and basic research, the PIILC brings together international leaders to participate in thematic discussion and foster collaboration.
Speakers from the United States, Ireland, and adjoining countries will bring novel insights on the role of precision medicine as it pertains to Aging and Fibrosis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Sleep, Asthma, Acute Lung Injury, Lung Cancer, and Pulmonary Hypertension. These national and international experts in the fields of Epithelial Cell Biology, Aging, Environmental Health, and Immunology have all contributed important work on the cellular basis of disease and helped paint a richer landscape of our understanding of human medicine. |

Keynote Speaker
We are delighted to have the CEO of Aerium Therapeutics, Rajeev Venkayya, MD; as Keynote Speaker for PIILC 2023.
The Keynote Presentation, “How to Prepare for the Next Pandemic” will take place on the morning of Monday 16th October in RCSI and we will also have an address from Rajeev during the conference dinner on Monday evening.
