The Irish Thoracic Society joined forces with RTE’s Nationwide this Ash Wednesday to highlight Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD ) , a serious condition for many Irish people that causes a quarter of all respiratory-related deaths in Ireland each year.
