There are two roles becoming available on the ITS Council with effect from the ITS AGM on Friday November 21st, 2025. 

1. ITS Council Member – Consultant

Due to the retirement of the current ITS President in November 2025, there is a vacancy for a new Consultant member of the ITS Council.  Please be aware that this Council member will become a Charity Trustee.  The legal responsibilities of a Charity Trustee are available at https://www.charitiesregulator.ie/en/information-for-charities/who-is-a-charity-trustee.    Please also visit The Wheel for a guide on the Role of a Trustee. 

2. ITS Council Member – Northern Ireland Representative, Consultant  

Due to the current NI representative moving to a new Council role in November 2025, there is a vacancy for a new NI Consultant member of the ITS Council. 

Process

1. Expressions of Interest are now open and will close on 1st of September 2025.   Please complete your expression of interest via the form Here. 
2. Expressions of interest will be reviewed by the ITS Council and successful candidates will be notified by 1st of October 2025.  
3. The proposed new Council members will be proposed to the ITS membership at the AGM on Friday 21st of November in the Galway Bay Hotel.  
4. If accepted without objection,  the person will complete the required documentation and become a Council member with immediate effect.
