ITS Prizes and Awards 2016

The award of Best Oral Presentation at the Irish Thoracic Society Annual Scientific Meeting went to Dr Sinead McKeon, Trinity College Dublin – The Role of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor (MIF) in  Lung Cancer.

The award of Best Oral Presentation, runner up prize went to Dr Michelle White, RCSI Beaumont Hospital – Ivacaftor therapy reduces the inflammatory burden in patients with Cystic Fibrosis by indirectly modulating ADAM-17 activity.
