| Abstract: | The asthma inhaler and device poster helps patients, physicians and health professional identify the correct asthma inhalers prescribed. Given the wide range of asthma inhaler and devices available, this can be confusing for both patient and health care professional. The poster assists the individual identify the name of the inhaler, the strength of the inhaler as well a spacer devices to ensure optimum asthma control. It can be an excellent tool for patients and health care professional attending outpatients appointment as well as scheduled and unscheduled visits. This is the 4th edition of the poster and is an collaboration between colleagues in the Paediatric Respiratory Department, CHI@Tallaght and the Pharmacy and Medical Photography, TUH. |
