Our Team
Clinical Nurse Advisors
Our qualified clinical nurse advisors have a keen interest and deep understanding of patients with respiratory conditions. Regionally based, each nurse forms essential links with healthcare professionals across Primary and Secondary Care to facilitate safe and appropriate usage of respiratory therapies.
Our nurse advisors also work closely with our specialist teams to support the development of respiratory therapies.
Customer Care Team
The focus of all our work is to improve the quality of life for our patients, and our homecare helpline is at the heart of this. Acting as the organisation’s nerve centre, it keeps our staff in touch with patients, Healthcare Technicians and clinicians 24 hours a day 7 days per week. Handling hundreds of inbound and outbound calls is the norm for this busy team that constantly delights and supports the people they speak with.
Healthcare Technicians
We understand that people often come to us at a difficult time in their Iife. Being told that they need therapies like oxygen or CPAP can be a big change, so it’s important that we make them feel at ease from the beginning.
All of our Healthcare Technicians undergo a thorough training programme before they are allowed to make a visit to a patient. Patients get to know their usual Technician and their trust and friendship builds up over time.
We pride ourselves on the dedication of our Healthcare Technicians. No matter what, they are ready and willing to do what it takes to reach their patients. This has been highlighted through a range of challenges including pandemic flu, fire, floods and snow.
